Specialized OB Emergency Services
AdventHealth for Women – Orlando offers access to an Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), which is specially equipped to treat expectant moms and their babies. The OBED is staffed with experienced OB hospitalists who are specialists in obstetric medicine. The OBED treats pregnancy- and postpartum-related concerns like abdominal pain, preterm labor, preeclampsia, abnormal vaginal bleeding, ruptured membranes, labor checks, bladder infections, decreased fetal movement and increased blood pressure.
