On-Demand Care
for Common Conditions

When you're not feeling well, you need health care to be convenient as possible. That's why we're bringing a provider right to you, wherever you are, through your smartphone or tablet.

There are seven main categories of care we can treat through a video visit. Use this feature of the AdventHealth app to connect with a licensed care provider if you or a family member are experiencing symptoms of:

  • Conjunctivitis (pink-eye)
  • Cough, cold, bronchitis and flu
  • Lower back pain
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Sinus and upper respiratory infection
  • Skin conditions
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)

The Doctor Will See You Now

Our video visits are like the modern version of a doctor's house call: you can have an online doctor appointment on your smartphone or tablet. Our physicians and nurse practitioners can help you with many questions and concerns without an office appointment.

The Cost of a Video Visit

Some insurance plans cover video visits, so it's a good idea to check with your insurance company first. If you don't have insurance, the charge is $59 per visit.

    After Your Appointment

After your visit is complete, your visit summary will appear on screen. If you're unable to view it immediately, you'll receive directions on how to access your post-visit summary via secure email to the email account you have on file. This will provide details of your visit, follow up instructions from the provider, prescribed prescriptions and additional information on what to do if your condition doesn't improve.

If the physician or nurse practitioner determines your needs are outside the scope of care for a video visit, you won't be charged. We will also assist you with a referral to a primary care physician, ER or Centra Care urgent care facility, if necessary.

When to Seek ER or Urgent Care Instead

If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or visit your nearest AdventHealth ER. Life-threatening concerns, such as symptoms of a heart attack, symptoms of a stroke, deep wounds, and poisoning should be treated by an emergency department.

Conditions like broken bones, infections, allergies, stomach problems and pediatric concerns can be treated at any of our Centra Care urgent care locations. They are open 7 days a week, and some centers are open until midnight.
