Our emergency physicians and other highly trained providers treat a wide range of emergencies in kids and adults, including and not limited to:

  • Broken bones
  • Complicated fractures
  • Deep wounds
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Heart attack symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, extreme fatigue and upper body discomfort)
  • Major head injury
  • Poisoning
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Severe burns
  • Stroke symptoms (facial droop, slurred speech and sudden numbness on one side of the body)
  • Vomiting or coughing up blood

For illnesses and injuries that aren’t life-threatening, our AdventHealth Centra Care urgent care centers are ready to serve you seven days a week with convenient hours and walk-in availability.

    With some emergencies, you may need to stay longer so we can closely monitor your progress. Our overnight observation unit enables us to monitor, observe and care for you without transferring you to another facility.
