Through virtual care, our AdventHealth patients in Colorado can see a provider from the comfort of their home or workplace. This service might be a good fit if you have acute, non-urgent symptoms or need help managing a chronic condition.

How To Join Your Virtual Care Appointment
1. After scheduling your visit, you will receive an appointment link via email or text.
2. Before your scheduled appointment time, access the link on a desktop computer or mobile device. (Note: The appointment link will not be active until 15 minutes before your appointment.)
3. Please have your photo ID ready. If possible, collect your blood pressure and temperature before the visit. Please, no driving during the visit.
4. A medical assistant will call you before the appointment to confirm your registration information and guide you through the rest of the preparation.
5. Once you have registered and spoken to the medical assistant, your care provider will join the virtual appointment.

A:Answer:All Colorado residents can request virtual care appointments. You may be a new or current patient of an AdventHealth provider.

Q:Question: How do I prepare for a virtual care appointment?
A:Answer:- Have your photo ID ready
- If you’re able, use your technology devices to get your blood pressure and temperature before your virtual visit to share with your clinical team
- Find a quiet area in which to sit. If you are driving, please find a safe parking place before your appointment begins. The provider will cancel the appointment if a patient is operating a vehicle.
- Our medical assistant will call you approximately five to 15 minutes before your appointment. Please answer the call so the medical assistant can confirm your information before your visit.

A:Answer:Each virtual care visit will be approximately 15 to 30 minutes long.

A:Answer:To ensure we can provide the best care, we can address one chief concern during each virtual visit. We aim to provide you with the most efficient and effective evaluation for a non-emergency condition.

A:Answer:No, we can only address one patient's health concerns per appointment. Our scheduling team will gladly schedule a separate appointment for anyone needing care.

A:Answer:Virtual care services are available from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Q:Question: What If I need lab work or treatment after my visit?
A:Answer:Your virtual care provider may refer you to a clinic, lab or a radiology facility if additional services are necessary. These services include vitals checks, lab tests, point of care tests, swabs, urine analysis or breathing treatments. After your video visit, you should contact your primary care provider to inform them about your appointment and diagnosis. They may request an additional follow-up appointment.
