    AdventHealth Gordon is home to Northwest Georgia's only Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), offering pregnant women immediate access to care. Our OBED is staffed 24/7 with experienced OB hospitalists who treat pregnancy- and postpartum-related concerns like abdominal pain, preterm labor, preeclampsia, abnormal vaginal bleeding, ruptured membranes, labor checks, bladder infections, decreased fetal movement and increased blood pressure.
