AdventHealth Medical Group reveals new Heart Care office in Lake Wales

DAVENPORT, Fla., June 10, 2025 — AdventHealth is expanding once again in Polk County with the opening of a new heart care office in Lake Wales. The space will allow Dr. Saiyed Mohib, the first cardiologist at AdventHealth Lake Wales, the opportunity to see and help even more patients, bringing expert cardiovascular care closer to home for the community.

The clinic, located at 1255 State Rd 60 E, Suite 600 in Lake Wales, opened on June 10 with the support of community leaders. It features three exam rooms, one procedure room and new state-of-the-art equipment.

Dr. Mohib has more than 20 years of experience assessing and preventing heart attacks and other heart-related diseases. He helps patients improve their health through nutrition and lifestyle changes. He also uses minimally invasive procedures to open blocked arteries and restore blood flow, helping prevent heart attacks. In addition, he treats heart rhythm issues like atrial fibrillation and tachycardia with medications, devices and procedures such as ablation to help restore a normal heartbeat.
